Bermuda currently does not have a strategy to help our communities to reduce the amount of waste that is generated on the island and one of the strategies is to develop a 'Zero Waste Cafe’ (ZWC).
The ZWC will develop a blue print to help businesses reduce their reliance on single-use plastics, will serve as a real life example to and working with local cafés and restaurants to incentivise owners and customers to order their drink or food “for here or takeaway” to opt for reusable containers or tableware.
We want the Bermudian community to come together to learn more about sustainability and to have access to tools for adopting a zero or low-waste lifestyle
